Be the change that you want to see in the world!

I told sometime ago I moved...I'm living in the northeast of Brazil. For a long time this place has been completely forgotten by the progress and development...social problems in a poor brazilian past...and until now, this place still with no recycling of waste. A big problem to me because I really love to live in clean place, my house is always clean because I like to organize everything every day!

I thought the first time I picked up my rubbish as I could survive in a city without recycling ...and I had an idea, every day I separate recyclables and write in the bag: Recyclable Rubbish.  

Today I was coming home from work and realized I had a bag of recyclable waste in my kitchen and I  went to my apartment to put in the rubbish collectors, when I find a rubbish collector man (some people live in Brazil with the money from recycling garbage).

I talked to him about my rubbish, I said: everyday I will leave recyclable rubbish for you!  

He spoke to me embarrassed without looking to my eyes: "thank you, you are helping me to buy food to my family!"

I said, "I have to say thank you! You are helping my future family to exist and survive, separating the waste that would pollute the nature! "

I would like to say with this short and real tale that we have to make the difference that we can see in the world, even if the government doesn't do their part, we can show to the government that we can be better than them and fight for a better world for us and for who we love! The mother earth says thank you!
