What is happening in Brazil? Updates II

Hello Guys!

Some people ask me why I'm not supporting the manifestations by Brazil, and today I'll explain ...When I was a child I was in love with a amazing rock'n'roll band called Pink Floyd, and I realize that this was one of the best things that happened in my life.

When I listened to Pink Floyd just listen to the tunes was not enough, I need to understand the lyrics, so was Floyd who taught me English ...But Floyd did just that to me ... taught me to have a critical view of the world, of what is happening and how the dough can be dangerous because it is like a sheep subjected to manipulation of dogs ...yes, Animals always was my favourite album!

The whole album is based on the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell, but not limited to it. Despite some subtle doses of sarcasm, "Animals" is a serious work, in which the brilliant Waters expressed his anger against the capitalist society and those who hold power unjustly oppressing the less able. To draw this world, bassist and composer divides people into three categories animalistic, which bear the titles of the tracks two, three and four ("Dogs", "Pigs" and "Sheep").

Let me explain: in the Pink Floyd vision "Pigs" are those in power, unscrupulous politicians, those who control the masses. Waters conceptualizes "Dogs" as bourgeois who will do anything to get ahead in life, and maybe one day become "Pigs". What about and the sheeps? The sheeps my dear would we us: the people, the mass burning for a direction in life, but slightly clever to realize that we are manipulated by the dogs at the behest of pigs ...poor sheeps!

Sheep at the moment is the Brazilian people, thirsty for improvements in living conditions, public transport, culture and recreation. The seat is so great that he forgot that we live in the lowest unemployment rate in history, the era of GDP that has made us one of the largest economic powers. At this moment we are better than UK, interestingly the land of Pink Floyd.

So you really think I'll be next to a person who uses an  Arab nickname and claims to be funded by a large international group and a major TV?

Yes, this guy created the hashtag #changeBrazil in English because in Brazil we speak Portuguese but people love to be led in another language. This guy did a movie with professional quality talking bad things about Brazil itself, trying to sully the image of our country in the international media. Do you really think will applaud this person trying to ruin our own country?

We also have a group called "Anonymous". This group says that it is against corruption in Brazil...but in addition to using a word in English (which makes doubtful his love for Brazil) is also corrupt because it violates Article 5 of the Brazilian Constitution that says: is the free expression of thought but the anonymity is forbidden. Then how do you explain me being against corruption using corrupt means to end it?

Also the anonymous group in your fan page on Facebook compares Brazil with some eastern countries and wants us to be like Egypt and Syria, that a minimum resistance in the streets against corruption. Are you ingenuous enough to think it is good to turn Syria after achieving excellent economic indicators? Search for information about human development in post war countries you will understand how a war is good for a country ...Read about the horrors of Nazi Germany to understand how stifling democracy helps people to live better, study about life during the military dictatorship in Brazil to understand how the lack of freedom and military domination are harmful to a country.

And finally we have this girl, so much of Carla Daudén ... she says she is a filmmaker and live in the United States, and did advertising against Brazil. Do you really think that a person who lives outside of Brazil know the country well enough to speak out against the country?

If she really was interested in the future of Brazil why she is living in the United States?

So I have to update you as I promise and as a person committed to truth I have to admit that many improvements were achieved after the people took to the streets, many cities lowered the value of public transport fares, some fares will now be free for students, was approved by politicians that the profit of Brazilian oil will go to education and health, and I cannot lie that our President Dilma Rousseff has always fought for it in 2012 but unfortunately never had the support of Brazilian legislators to make it a reality.

Also President Dilma always wanted to turn into a hideous crime and corruption never had the support of parliamentarians, but now with the popular pressure on the streets this law came out of the paper.

And we are also a step Political Reform, always dreamed of by popular parties and never backed it involves parliamentary campaign financing by private companies and of course the politicians do not want to lose this funding. And political reformation proposed by plebiscite, ie, it is the people who will decide how they want this reform is carried out, finally, we are a democracy!

I almost forgot, how don´t write about him...yes...ROMÁRIO, former football player who in 2007 was the poster boy of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, FIFA gave to Brazil's candidacy to host at the time ... Romário and Fifa (2007):

http://globoesporte.globo.com/ESP/Noticia/Futebol/Selecao_Brasileira/0,,MUL80685-4482,00.html

And now looks like he changes his opinion and he is against the world cup in Brasil...what´s happening with Romário?

http://globoesporte.globo.com/futebol/copa-das-confederacoes/noticia/2013/06/bebeto-lamenta-postura-do-ex-parceiro-romario-sobre-copa.html

So can you believe these people trying to smudge the reputation of Brazil and forget that they the innocent have nothing, some don´t live here and escaped to another country, others hide in the anonymity and Romario forget that was he who brought the Cup to Brazil in 2007?

Guys, I'm totally in favor of all these political reforms, but I'll never be in favor of imposition of anonymity and never in my life I want to destroy the image of Brazil to the rest of the world, love my country, I know we have problems, as well as every other country in the world and I am very aware that it is only democracy that we can change something.

We can not forget that Brazil adopts a democratic regime and that all parliamentarians are in power because they were chosen by the people, it was not your choice you should accept the will of the majority and try to change that, in the election without violence, without vandalism and destruction. A country divided will never be strong, never be a great nation! History teaches us, and we must be learners, always!

A bit of Pink Floyd to you!

Stay in peace!

Carols

I am aware that after everything I wrote can be threatened by these people I quoted in the text as has happened, but I need to show the other side of the story, because the world needs to know! I saw the dark side of the moon!

Some Brazilian people are a bit upset about the World Cup!

Brazil is a very big country, one of the biggest in the world!

Brazil there´s about 200 million inhabitants, last night, about 200 thousand people, it is about 0,20% of the whole country protested by improving public transport in the country. I can agree the public transport is not as in USA ou Europe, we don´t have metro (not in all the cities, just São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and more 4 capitals)...ok this is a good reason to protest.

The problem is a bit of this 200 thousand people don´t want the FIFA world cup in Brazil. They think that the money must improve the education, the health care system and social benefits. It is ok, is a very nice argument. The problem is, the FIFA World Cup will be next year, 2014, and everything is almost ready, the stadium,  the access roads to the stadium, the public transport to the stadium and other stuff.

Already spent so much money with all these improvements and it's been a long time since the Brazilian people know that the World Cup will be held in Brazil. The question is, why less than 0.2% of the Brazilian people are complaining just now?

Some images of peaceful activist.

Some images of activists destroying buses belonging to the public transport system:

Some protesters don't want to pay for public transport:

"Passe livre já!" means free fare for public transport right now. We know it is almost impossible, I never heard about a country where the public transport is for free, maybe in a comunist country, Brazil adopts the political system of capitalism.

So dear reader, I wrote this text to show both sides of the protests, because I am a person committed to truth and would never omit facts. I would like to show other things:

Yes, we have health system, and it is for free to everyone (you don´t need to be employed). The name of our free healthcare system is SUS.

Yes, we have education and some of public and free Universities are among the best in the world:

USP - São Paulo

UFRGS - Porto Alegre

Unfortunately I can not show all the wonders that exist in the country so I invite you, dear citizen of the world to know it, the World Cup or elsewhere, come and find out for yourself!

But please do not be put off by fear and by threats of a few Brazilians who can not give proper value to their country! Living in fear is like living in vain!

Nice video with my city in Brazil! Join it and join world cup with us!

See you in Brazil!

Going to Brazil: Confederation Cup! What carry on baggage? Chapter I

It´s depend! The good news is I can help you! In the next days I will talk about the places and weather...it will begin in Fortaleza, beach, north of Brazil, summer the entire year, 360 sunny days! Looks it Paradise!

Bikini: you need, the temperature in Fortaleza every day is 24°C to 30°C, it is the perfect weather and Ceará is full of amazing beaches. I think is better to buy one in Brazil because they are not expensive and the brazilian bikini is the most beautiful in the world. That´s my suggestion:

Day: you need sunglasses and hat, dress is the best option and you feel fresh and confortable that is the same reason you must avoid high hills.

Night: Fortaleza is really good at evening, many restaurants, parties, samba, beautiful people or a simple ride at Front Beach...I will show two options, the first one for a walk ride around the ocean and the second one for party!

Nice places to go out: Orbita, Dragão do Mar, Sherlock Pub...

If you are invited for a fancy party you can wear a dress like this one:

I'm sure you will have all eyes on you!

Have a good time in Brazil!

See you there,

Carol
